Creating a free account

Get started!   

If you haven't already registered for a free Outwrite account, get started here. All you need is an email address.

Once you've registered, you'll be asked a couple of questions to customize your Outwrite account (like your preferred version of English).

From there, you can either upload or open a new document to start editing. You can easily access all your uploaded documents on the documents section of your account. They will be stored on Outwrite and can be accessed at any time. 

The free version of Outwrite will give you access to:

  • Spell checking
  • Advanced grammar checking
  • Thesaurus
  • Custom dictionary
  • Writing statistics
